FAQ

Common questions

Does every band member need to pay?
No. The band owner (or admin) holds the subscription. Members log in for free, on any number of devices.
Does it work offline?
Yes for the songs and setlists you've opened recently. They stay cached on the device so a missing Wi-Fi at the venue doesn't break the gig.
Can I import my existing songs?
PDF, MusicXML, lyrics-with-chords text — all welcome. BandHQ auto-detects parts, key and tempo where possible, and you can correct anything.
What about song copyright?
You're responsible for the licence of any sheet music you upload, just like with Dropbox. BandHQ never re-publishes content; songs live in your private band space.
